Some of you may have noticed that on both the Mardi Gras chocolatey cupcakes, and Sam’s Valentine’s Day carrot cake cupcakes they had edible glitter on them.
This is a ridiculously simple way to decorate your cupcakes.
(Whenever I see primary colors I sing the primary color song in my head.
It basically just goes, “Primary colors: They are red, yellow, blueeeeee”
Over and over.)
Ingredients:
1/4 cup sugar (32 g)
Food Colouring
(In case you didn’t remember- here’s a snap of the Mardi Gras cupcakes)
Instructions:
Put your sugar into a bowl, add a few drops of food colouring (one at a time) until your sugar has reached your desired colour. Now just blast that in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds just to take any remaining moisture out.
You can now glitterize everything you eat. Savoury food? Do it with salt!
