Expat Life

This weekend and the future

Starting next Monday Rhyme & Ribbons will be temporarily brought to you from America while I nervously apply for and wait for my visa which will let me stay in England For-Ev-Er.  And not only that it will let me work.  A big cheer for that one!

But while that’s really exciting I HATE the fact that Sam and I are going to be apart while this happens.  (Since he’s in the middle of 3 shows there’s no way he can come with me or even visit.)  Call me emotional high-maintenece or needy but I really don’t like being away for extended periods of  time.  Like the weekend.  I need hugs and a snuggle partner, but more importantly he’s my best friend and I hate being in a position when I can’t call him on the phone to tell him I saw a really really fat bird.  In fact, I’ve been crying…a lot…about it recently.

So in order to pep myself up about temporarily moving back to America and to encourage me to think positively here’s a list of things I am excited about:

Chick-fil-a
Dion’s Pizza
Oreo Blizzards from Dairy Queen
No rain
My brother
Sun/Getting a Tan
Green Chile
Target
Family Puppies!

But we had a nice weekend nonetheless.

On a boat ride down the Avon before an excellent dinner at Lamb’s

(His head really isn’t 3x bigger than mine.)
(I spotted a really freaky duck)
