Sometimes the perfect day in London consists of nothing more than a glorious winter’s afternoon in your local park. I’d rather be playing out in the sunshine then cooped up inside in front of the television any day. And what’s even better is when you can combine work with play.
It was an excuse to play whilst showcasing my new brogues from Joules, an amazing British brand that I’ve blogged about before. (And any of my instagram followers will know I wear my Joules wellies religiously.) I had the opportunity to pick these beautiful shoes so of course I jumped at it! All their products are fabulous and so beautifully detailed. I will be keeping an eye on this jacket, for example.
Just take a closer look at those beauties…. sigh! It’s the stuff that all my “Golden Compass” inspired Oxford-student fantasies are made of. They fit like a dream and I can’t wait to wear them with soft, feminine dresses in the summer.
Who hasn’t harboured secret fantasies of being a supreme fashion blogger? I know that I’ll never be able to pull off pseudo-contemplative serious photos and that I need to embrace my inner (and outer silliness).
Let’s take one last look at these beautiful, beautiful shoes. They make me want to start sewing elbow patches onto all my jackets. I won’t go so far as to wear my very thick, very un-chic glasses in public though. I’ll spare you that.
