Last Tuesday, the lovely Jess from Jess-on-Thames and I went out. We got to hit up Superdry, House of Fraser and Selfridges. This was the 6th year the event has been held in London. It’s all about encouraging people to get out and visit and support stores, boutiques and chains around the city.
Everyone headed out to Regent Street and Oxford Street which was the centre of all the events. The event is sponsored by Vogue and more and more stores are participating. Since Jess and I weren’t exactly super shoppers or fashion bloggers we just got to wander about seeing bits and bobs and some of the strange sights that FNO has to offer.
Like some Made in Chelsea stars. (Sadly, having never seen the show I had to use my friend, Google, to determine why this particular person was famous.) We also saw some absolutely incredible body painting at MAC. I have no idea how the models were able to allow themselves to be painted for that long- or how the makeup artists themselves had the patience!
Of course for me (and for Jess, I believe) the famous Radley dogs stole the show. Can I have one now please?
The absolutely stunning DJ, Jameela Jamil, in House of Fraser.
The Fireflies playing in Superdry.
Another DJ in House of Fraser.
A spiral of Louis Vuitton bags in Selfridges.
The Radley dogs stole the show for me!
And I think they stole Jess’ heart as well!
Mac was celebrating their Wild line. The makeup artists were incredibly talented! Apparently, the models had been standing here getting painted for 5 + hours!
We kept seeing people walking around with delicious looking beverages so we wandered around House of Fraser to join the drinks queue.
Bartenders from Mahiki were there mixing Mihiki rum cocktails. I can now attest, they are delicious.
