Survey Results

At the beginning of last month I put up a survey, and I’d like to say thank you for all the people that took the time to fill it out. I thought I’d take some time to share some of the results. As we are rapidly approaching the 2nd birthday of this space, it was an interesting time to view them!

97% of the survey respondents identified as female.

The largest age group of readers was 25-34.

41% of readers are currently expats, 42% have never been expats, 12% are re-patriated and 5% are considering expatriation in the future.

Personal, travel and London pasts ranked among people’s top 3 favourite type of posts.

When I asked what aspect of Rhyme & Ribbons could be improved for 2015 one respondent answered “less recipes” while another answered “more food”. I’m going to take those two points to average each other out.

To the lovely reader who said they’d like to see more of my travel, I’m afraid that you see all of it. This is it. I would, of course, like to travel more and if I did I would blog about it, but I don’t currently have the funds to.

Quite a few people mentioned that they’d like to read more personal posts, and a surprising number of people mentioned they’d like to know more about what I’m currently reading.

I know I’m a crazy lady but some of your kind responses legitimately brought tears to my eyes. Granted, that’s pretty easy. I’ve never watched an episode of the “Undateables” without crying at least twice.

If you have any more comments that weren’t mentioned in the survey, leave them below!
