March Sponsors

I can’t believe it’s time already for my March Sponsor round up. It seems like yesterday that I was doing February’s!

Laura is amazing and reading her blog makes me smile. So I guess laughter really is catching? (Sorry. I couldn’t help it.)  Don’t believe me? Take a look at those cookie monster cupcakes, and tell me they don’t make you smile. I dare you. I asked Laura what some of her favourite posts were and she responded with a post she did about reflecting back on the changes in her life. The post is older now, and there have been so many more even since she wrote it! And her post dedicated to her grandfather is amazingly touching. (I was really close to mine as well, and I often wish he was still with us.)

Some readers of Rhyme & Ribbons might recognise Ala’s name already, because she’s a blogger I really admire and someone that I want to peer pressure into being my friend. So I’m absolutely delighted that she came on board as a sponsor this month! Ala has awesome cooking skills (we even met at a cookery class) and her homemade heart-shaped chocolates literally look better than most chocolates you see at the store. It’s amazing. Seriously! And the photos of her red velvet cake look absolutely divine.  But here’s the thing about Ala: she can’t stop just at being amazing in the kitchen. She has to be good at all things. So she’s also been teaching herself to sew. That yellow skirt in her profile picture? She made it. And you can read more about it here.

Anna’s adventures are so incredible to read about and her photos are lovely; but one of the things I most admire about her is her honesty. Her post on when travel ceases to fulfill had me nodding along. As did her post on finding the romance in the little gestures.  And do you think you could unplug like Anna did?

Abigail is one of my newest blog crushes. I just identify with so much of what she writes, and she just tickles all the right blog aesthetic places for me. I whole-heartedly agree with all the sentiments expressed in this ode to English snow. And her photos of Northern Ireland ignited all kinds of wanderlust in my heart. But Abi also has a penchant for historical research (which I love) and I found her post on the origins of New Year’s resolutions incredibly interesting!
