Spring 2015 Must Haves

So I have a lot of things that I want to save up for. Sam and I would like to stop being crushed by London rent every month. We’d like to travel more. And slowly, but surely, we have the big “W” word to save for.

Long story short: I don’t have any expendable cash right now to spend on frivolous fun things. But if I did then my spring wants would look something like this:

I’d want to fill my wardrobe with lovely summery Cath Kidston dresses and comfy ballet shoes. My tried and true favourite blush, Nars, desperately needs to be replaced.

Now that I have a new shiny thing on my hand, I am pretty self-conscious about the abysmal state of my fingernails. I’m a nail biter. Yes, it’s a filthy habit but I just can’t quit it. It’s been well over a year since my last professional manicure and I have a hankering for one again. (Side note: it’s been well over a year since my last professional haircut. Yikes. It’s getting out of control #icutmyownhair .)

I’m a fairly nesty person, that hates her sofas. Mostly because our current ones are so drab. One was picked up absolutely free from FreeCycle (Yay saving money) and the other was from a charity shop. But neither are going to win any comfort or style awards any time soon, so lovely sofas in cheery colours make me swoon. As does proper kitchen kit. (I dream in Le Creuset. I kid?) Last weekend, we stayed with Sam’s dad while his step-mom was out of town and we had dominion over their incredible, gorgeous kitchen. It’s light, airy, and the kitchen-patio area could easily fit our entire flat in it. And the kitchen is fully stocked. Sam’s step-mom is lucky that none of her lovely kitchen gadgets walked away over the weekend…

And last, but certainly not least, a puppy. Because who doesn’t want a puppy.

What are you lusting for this spring?
