Exploring Kent in Photos and in Vlog

A few weekends ago, Sam and I spent out Saturday hiking around Kent, right outside of London looking at different wedding venues. Similar to our daytrip to Stratford-upon-Avon last month, it was the best of both worlds. Getting to walk around in nature, spending time in places we love, while doing some wedding planning at the same time.

We were walking between tiny villages when we got caught out in a fairly epic storm, and though we looked none the better for it, we utilised the time to take cover and devour some of the sandwiches that we had packed and brought with us for lunch.

By the time we had reached the small village of Groombridge, we were pretty exhausted and decided to treat ourselves to a novelty ride on the steam train back to Tunbridge Wells. (Which I blogged about back in the fall.) We had a great day out and felt like we’d accomplished a lot by the time we got back home for dinner.

And now for the vlog!

I absolutely love exploring England on foot!
