Exploring Kent in Photos and in Vlog

A few weekends ago, Sam and I spent out Saturday hiking around Kent, right outside of London looking at different wedding venues. Similar to our daytrip to Stratford-upon-Avon last month, it was the best of both worlds. Getting to walk around in nature, spending time in places we love, while doing some wedding planning at the same time.

We were walking between tiny villages when we got caught out in a fairly epic storm, and though we looked none the better for it, we utilised the time to take cover and devour some of the sandwiches that we had packed and brought with us for lunch.

By the time we had reached the small village of Groombridge, we were pretty exhausted and decided to treat ourselves to a novelty ride on the steam train back to Tunbridge Wells. (Which I blogged about back in the fall.) We had a great day out and felt like we’d accomplished a lot by the time we got back home for dinner.

    Wedding venue shopping! How cool!

Sam loves blogging, doesn’t he? He so wants his own vlog!

    • Heheh totally. Actually vlogging is the best of both worlds for us- Sam and his friends used to make films on weekends anyways (this is probably why he’s and actor and his brother is a director). Sam claims that if he had a blog he’d be way funnier and more popular than me. But he also doesn’t really understand how twitter works so…. x

I think Sam makes an awesome side kick. Not convinced he could be funnier or more popular than you though. You’re blatantly Batman out of the two of you 😉

And if you don’t get Twitter, you’re dead in the water!

  • I love Kent! It looks so fun to explore on foot too. I haven’t been to Tunbridge Wells but really want to go. Will check out the vlog later after work. Your coat is so pretty! Xxx
