The Festival season is well and truly under way, with friends coming back from Glastonbury a few weeks ago with loads of stories and a few scars to boot. I know that it’s not just me who is tempted to splurge on a shopping spree just to prep for festivals, right?
My theory on festival packing is to be prepared for all weather. Especially mud. Mud is a weather when it comes to festivals. This also means pack lots of things that you can layer. Wear clothing that you don’t mind if it gets ruined. (It probably will).
No need to buy a flower crown, just pick a few daisies and assemble your own.
Here are some of my favourite picks from New Look from the Festival Shop that layer well, protect you from the weather, but still show that you are in the festive spirit.
The kimono and the dungarees featured below are both c/o of New Look.
I’ve seen Florence & the Machine in concert before but I would have loved to see her headline at Glastonbury this year.
My ideal festival line up would include: Arcade Fire, Mumford and Sons, the Arctic Monkeys, Old Crow Medicine Show, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Josh Ritter and maybe a bit of Taylor Swift just for giggles.
What would yours be?
