I definitely wouldn’t say “no” to spending a week or so in Angie’s shoes! Okay, make it a month. Angie lives the kind of London life that exists only in my coolest fantasies. Her recent venture to Flesh & Buns, one of the hip restaurants of the moment, has proven that I might lose my London-cred soon if I don’t get over there asap. I mean, Angie even has childhood memories of The Dorchester. That’s #winning, for sure! And to learn a bit more about the woman behind the blog, read Angie’s post about her travel personality.
Miranda is so kind-hearted. Let me tell you a story to illustrate this (I hope you don’t mind me sharing, Miranda): Miranda had posted a photo of one of my favourite perfumes, and I commented saying how great it was. Cut to a few weeks later when we were both due to be at the same event and Miranda handed me a bottle because she had gotten an extra. That’s so awesomely thoughtful and it’s about time the world knows that that’s the kind of person Miranda is. Not only am I impressed by her generosity, I am also impressed by her incredibly balanced lifestyle: from her 5 am wake-ups to her dedication to having fitness be fun with mini-workouts. She also understands the importance of treating yourself, and I, for one, would love to try her honey vanilla fro-yo! I also recommend reading up on her “How to Start a Blog” series.

She and her husband are in the midst of a big adventure – they’ve been doing lots of traveling so read her latest post on how to get the most out of your travels! Plus you’ll come across some really handy posts like wardrobe essentials for traveling. Her blog catchphrase is “minimalism and adventure” but I’d add, “feast for the eyes.” Don’t believe me? Elizabeth is a woman after my own heart- we are both geocachers! Although I think that she might be slightly more successful than I am! Plus, Elizabeth is from Newfoundland (which looks gorgeous from her photos) and she blogs about traditions that I had never really heard of, like the Mummers Parade. But don’t let her “about” blurb fool you, Something Saturdays goes on big adventures too, like their trip around the Yucatan!
