Last summer I attended the Lambeth Country Show and had an absolute blast, so I made sure to put it on my calendar as soon as they announced the 2015 dates. Unlike last year, I didn’t see the cows but this year I got to see the sheep show and many, many beautiful dogs.
Last year one of my favourite exhibits was the vegetable creature competition (where veggies are carved into animals, creatures, characters, etc), and this year it didn’t disappoint. My favourite was a brilliant creation called “Jon Snowberegine” which is, as you may have guessed, “Game of Thrones” Jon Snow made from an aubergine. (You can see my twitter photo of it.)
A few weeks ago, at the Crystal Palace Festival, I met the lovely owner of the Weekend Doll booth that might frequent a festival near you. I visited her stall again at the Lambeth Country show and was again astounded by how lovely her clothing was.
I can’t wait for next year!
