Laura Ashley AW 16 Preview + June Sponsor Round up

I turned up to the Laura Ashley Press show room bright and early on Tuesday morning, excited to see their Autumn/Winter 16 collection. I found myself surrounded by gloriously textured fabrics and lovely prints, not to mention the smell of Christmas. (In fact, one whole room was dedicated to their Christmas range and it smelled of evergreen, cranberry, and spice.)

I love their upcoming clothing line; some of their sheer pieces are stunning. I particular love the black dress and while blouse pictured below. I also appreciated all the details in this latest collection; from perfect frills to neat pussy bows to high necks. Some of the heavier fabrics were swoon worthy as well. (I mean you, pinafore dress). If you think there’s a strong 70s vibe in this collection, then you’d be absolutely correct. A lot of pieces that you see were copied and re-vamped from the original Laura Ashley archive.

Besides having massive sofa envy about the lovely blue Ambleside piece (also pictured below), as always the little details (throws and pillows) helped pull together multiple looks of the utmost comfort. Laura Ashley’s prints are even more sumptuous than usual this upcoming season. Wallpaper is so finely detailed and luxe looking.

Laura Ashley is also showcasing some very on-trend decor at the moment with their Copper Canvas collection; and by on-trend, I mean it appeals to bloggers. There were hidden pineapple prints and subtle golden pineapple accessories sprinkled around.

Sophie posts the most positive posts! I always know that she’ll pep me up for the day ahead. She’s a lifestyle blogger based in Leeds and I love how much she loves food. A lady after my own heart, truly.  She and her partner are now homeowners, and I think everyone should read her post on making a house a home. I also loved one of her most recent posts on how to tackle writer’s block. And last but not least, Sophie had me in full-fledged summer mode with her recap of some time spent in Anglesey.
