Now that we have internet again, I can use my Spotify account once more. With the very dark and cold nights, hygge has been at the forefront of my mind. Our sofa has just arrived this weekend, and though we don’t have a fireplace, if we lit a million white pillar candles we can trick ourselves, right? To be frank, anything is going to feel comforting as long as we don’t have to sit on the floor anymore.
So here’s a selection of music that I’ve assembled that just feels like a full body hug: comforting, warm and mellow. (It includes our first dance song, Josh Ritter’s “Wait for Love”, obviously.)
