Have a very merry (early) Christmas to all you wonderful readers out there! I won’t be blogging over the holidays, so I’ll see you on the other side. Have a very wonderful Christmas and a fantastic New Year’s Eve. I hope your festive period is filled with joy and happiness, not to mention good friends and good food. I hope you all hold your loved ones close and manage to have a stress-free holiday season.
Sam and I are very excited to spend our first Christmas together alone as a married couple, and I’m excited to once again spoil that Christmas Day birthday boy. The plan for the day is to have long walks, lots and lots of food and bubbles, Skype friends and family, and play lots of games. We have a massive beef that could comfortably feed a small army, so we’ll definitely be eating well.
I love giving presents so I’ve already start pressuring Sam to open his, but he’s a steadfast holdout-er but I think I can get him to pull the ribbon off at least one of them late Saturday night.
Later in the week, we’ll be ringing in the New Year with family before heading out to the Minster for the countdown. You can follow along throughout the festive period on instagram, as I’ll still be posting there.
Here’s to hoping that 2017 is bright and progressive. Or at least, hopefully it won’t be 2016. See you in the New Year everyone!
