When you’re married to a massive cricket aficionado (and one who plays for an actors’ cricket team) you slowly start to pick up a fair bit of cricket knowledge. Last year, when Sam and I got to go on a tour of Lord’s it was super exciting for us both.
So it’s with a fair bit of excitement that I get to announce that I am giving away 2 tickets to see Middlesex play Hampshire on Thursday 3rd August, when Lord’s Cricket Ground will host a Family Night during the NatWest T20 Blast fixture.
There will be plenty of entertainment besides the fixture itself, with a wide range of activities. Kids will be able to get involved with Middlesex’s short, fast and fun format B20 cricket, a bowling speed gun and funfair games. There will also be cricket taster sessions in the MCC Academy, balloon modellers, face painters and more.
Families will have the chance to meet the players and get autographs, plus there will be photo opportunities with both the NatWest T20 Blast and Specsavers County Championship trophies.
If you don’t win, adult tickets are £20 and under-16s are £5.
