I just wanted to pop in a quick post today to wish all my American readers, friends and family a very happy Thanksgiving.
This is my 8th Thanksgiving in England and I can’t quite believe that!
There are so many things that I am thankful for this year: from finding a new job to going on a fabulous honeymoon, to being truly welcomed in to a new community, to getting the little nugget of joy that is Harold. It’s been a wonderful year and here’s to many, many more.
I have so much to be grateful for and I’m glad that I at least have today to remind myself to acknowledge that.
As Sylvia Plath once said, “Let me live, love and say it well in good sentences.”
