Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This marks my 6th, YES SIXTH, Thanksgiving in England. And Sam has been present for every single one of them. Once again, I am thankful for Sam, my rock in England.
2010 – in a study abroad dorm with Sam and a million Americans
2011 – in a shared house in Tooting Broadway. I was the only American but my flatmates and I threw an incredible Friendsgiving Party
2012 – had friends over for a home cooked meal. (2 Brits, 2 Canadians, and me, the only American)
2013 – Sam and I were homeless at the time, flitting between friends and family and had our meal at a restaurant.
2014 – Sam and I shared our first Thanksgiving just the two of us
Which brings us to this year, 2015!
To both my American and non-American readers alike, I hope you have days filled with joy, family, love, great conversation and excellent food. I’ll see you on this space tomorrow. Potentially two stone heavier, but full of delight!
