My Top Picks from SS16 Press Previews

We are still in the throws of winter, but to get over my January blues, I set my mind on focusing on the glory that is the spring to come. So today, I wanted to show you some of my favourite picks from SS16 press previews that I was lucky enough to attend.

House of Fraser.

At the HOF, my favourite home lines were the Gray &Willow line, the Dickins & Jones collection and the Living by Christiane Lemieux collection. G&W was described as a range of “understated pieces with beautifully tactile and handcrafted appeal.” Dickens & Jones had its “bright hues, organic shapes and evocative of Britain’s charismatic countryside.” Living was described as “timelessly modern” whilst being “eclectic and contemporary.”

What do you think of the new House of Fraser line? It’s in stores starting in February.

M & Co

The lovely team behind the SS16 line at M&Co invited me to a great afternoon reveal of the newest line. The pieces unveiled for the upcoming months are fairly unsurprising, but there is always room for classic staples in my wardrobe. I particularly loved the striped jumper, striped tunic dress and patent leather loafers.

Debenhams

It was a joy to get to see the Debenhams SS16 line. My three favourite home collections were Ashely Thomas’ lighthearted and quirky homeware; Ben de Lisi’s retro prints and multi-couloured stripes; and Jasper Conran’s marble and geometric prints. I particularly lusted over Conran’s copper pans.

One of my favourite clothing lines was No. 1 Jenny Packham. And in particular, I adore the tulle skirt pictured below. The Debenhams lingerie and swimwear game was also on point.
