10 Happy Things

Life Lately || 10 things that have made me happy recently

Happy Friday everyone! I hope we are all gearing up towards a very exciting weekend.

>>> ‘The Duchess of Malfi’ opened at the York Theatre Royal this week. It feels like we’ve been rehearsing for ages, whilst at the same time, it has flown by. We are on until the 16th of March, so if you’re in the area, pick up a ticket.

I make a lot of good faces, mostly like this:

>>> Spring is in the air! We had an unseasonably warm February, and though I know March can be cold, I instantly associate March with the Spring.

>>> I binged ‘Russian Doll’ on Netflix. Then I made Sam watch it so I rewatched it with him. It was so, so good. Definitely my favourite viewing of the year.

>>> I’ve had my citizenship appointment so sometime in the next 6 months I’ll find out if I will be a UK passport holder in the near future.

>>> We ordered a new bed frame. Which sounds very mundane, but it’s actually quite exciting. And I set it up by myself. I am a superwoman.

>>> Even with a very busy schedule at the moment, we’ve still managed to squeeze in a fair few drinks with friends.

>>> All my seeds for spring planting arrived. I just now need to find sometime this weekend to head out to the allotment and get busy.

>>> I’ve discovered my new favourite white wine. It’s called Frond from Marks and Spencer. It’s a super tasty sauvignon blanc. This is not sponsored. I just thought other people needed to know.

>>> Also, in other television news “Fleabag” is back on. The first episode of the new series was excellent.

>>> Who can help but love a week that includes Pancake Day? It’s truly one of the best days of the year!

What are you doing this weekend? Do you have any exciting plans?
