Happy Friday everyone! The spring is really just flying by. That being said, Easter seemed very, very late this year!
>>> As I’m sure would make many people’s list, the last season of Game of Thrones has started. I can’t believe there are only 4 episodes left. I can’t wait for the Battle of Winterfell.
>>> The allotment is coming along. Hopefully it will be a thing of moderate beauty by the time my birthday rolls around.
>>> Both Broad City and Fleabag ended. I am sad to see both of them go, though they did both have nearly perfect endings.
>>> I’ve finally finished a large project for work that I’ve been toiling away on. It’s been occupying so much brain space and I’m thrilled that it’s finally finished.
>>> I went into a vintage bookshop in York that I’d never visited before and was thrilled to find that their prices were so reasonable. I went in there not meaning to buy anything at all and left with some pristine copies of classic novels. (5 perfect condition books for less than £20 is a steal in my mind).
>>> Bank holiday weekend was such a joy. 4 blissful days off in the sun.
>>> We invested in our own boule set because I love a good lawn game.
>>> I’ve been spending as much time as humanly possible outside and it’s just been marvellous.
>>> We also managed to rent a boat and go out on the Ouse with some friends. We’ve been talking about doing it ever since we moved to York and we finally did.
>>> The lovely weather we had over the bank holiday was unreal. Can that heat come back soon again? I’m already tired of the rain. I can’t wait to be barelegged again all the time.
