Big Bertha Beanbags

I think beanbags get a bad reputation. It might be the association with college dorm rooms or maybe it is just the 1970s retro-feel. But the beanbag of today is very different. Beanbags are actually a great option for a comfy, relaxing item of furniture; especially in a space where you can’t fit a sofa.

I am personally very drawn to the Big Bertha Original beanbag day bed (currently on sale down to £240). It looks great for watching films and lounging whilst reading. The size guide says that it is perfect for two, and I am sure that it is, but I really like to spread out so it seems like a great lounging situation for me.

In full disclosure, my current sofa is very, very uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced but conventional sofas are so expensive – even secondhand. I am tempted into buying this beanbag footstool to help enable me to stretch out whilst sitting on the sofa in a more comfortable way. And the footstool seems like an absolute steal at the current price of £29.90.

Now, I don’t have my own garden space (it’s currently shared) but if I did, I’d be very tempted to get an outdoor beanbag as a substitution for my hammock. It appeals to me because it would be easier to set up, easier to clean and be more comfortable to lay and read in.

All in all, there seems to be an option for everyone on the Big Bertha Original site. Check it out for yourself!
