I hope all my American readers are feeling very rested, with very full bellies! And if you are in America, I hope you enjoy your long weekend (that I am very jealous of!).
1. Thanksgiving yesterday was wonderful. Though Sam and I both had to work we still had a fantastic dinner: roasted chicken, stuffing, pumpkin pie and all the traditional trimmings.
2. I got all the Christmas decorations out first thing this morning. I hold myself to a strict ‘not before Thanksgiving’ deadline, but at the stroke of midnight all bets were off!
3. Attending the DebenhamsSS16 preview was a blast. I can’t wait to show you all some of my favourite pieces. Plus, you might have seen on instagram the beautiful flowers that I got from the event.
4. Over the weekend, I got to go to Oxford for work. And though the coach got stuck in horrendous traffic on the way back to London it was great to be out of London.
5. Sam and I smashed our way through ‘Jessica Jones’ on Netflix. I wish I wasn’t such a responsible person because I was very tempted to play hooky one day and just keep watching. It’s so dark, but it was compulsive watching.
6. I managed to snag a cheeky mid-work lunch time coffee with the lovely Emma.
7. This week I also got to fulfil my quota of beautiful baby snuggles. Why do baby heads smell so good?
8. If you watch Catastrophe, you’ll have briefly seen Sam and I together in it. We both we briefly in it earlier in the season, but it was nice to be in the same shot. Also it turns out, that I am not very good at taking a photo of something playing on the tv. Go figure. Good thing when we tweeted about it, Rob Delaney liked it.
9. I’ve started watching “Reign”. It’s completely historically inaccurate, but it’s like Gossip Girl in ye olde times. Obviously I love it.
10. Yesterday I discussed with my mom and brother how early they might come over to the UK for the wedding. It really brought home that this is actually happening. Eek!
