How are you all doing? I’ve been suffering from the longest ever cold – going on 2 weeks now with no end in sight! Ridiculous! I’ve also been suffering a plethora of wedding related anxiety nightmares ranging in seriousness from officiant not turning up, to my mom arriving late.
>>> Finishing Season 2 of Kimmy Schmidt. Such a joy to watch! Especially the episode “Man Problems ” (Season 2, episode 7). The Goldman Sachs cheer gag? Priceless!
>>> “Game of Thrones” Season 6. It’s definitely not a joyful watch, but every single episode has kept me on the edge of my seat.
>>> I had three presentations at work this week that I was a bit nervous about; including one big one on Wednesday. They all went reasonably well (I think) and it’s just such a relief to have them done!
>>> I haven’t worn tights in two weeks now and my skin is thanking me. Now to just get a bit of color on my legs.
>>> I’ve gotten some excellent toddler babysitting time in this week.
>>> We seem to have accomplished a fair bit of wedding admin lately, which is always a relief.
>>> This little space of mine got a face lift, you might have noticed. I’ve been having a terrible time sleeping lately and in the middle of the night I started installing a new look and re-organising all my posts. Hopefully the site is a bit easier to navigate now. I’m still not 100% with everything so some tinkering here and there will definitely continue.
>>> As per the above, and sleeping really poorly, I finally had a full restful night of sleep on Wednesday eve and it made such a huge difference to my day.
>>> Our flower girls look adorable in their dresses. Too cute for words! The youngest didn’t want to take hers off, which I see as a big stamp of approval.
>>>The “Darker Shade of Magic” series is very good. I loathe putting it down when I get off the train for work!
