Happy Friday everyone! What a joy it is to be in a 4 day week!

10 Things That Have Made Me Happy

>>> So it’s a pretty big one: you’ll have noticed at the beginning of May I was away on a 10 night cruise with Celebrity! It’s the most incredible blog opportunity that I’ve had to date and I’m still floored that they picked me as the influencer to tag along.

>>> When I was in Naples, I ate pizza at what’s supposed to be the best pizza place in the world. Pizza is already the world’s finest food so this was just unbelievably good.

>>> I got my haircut, which is small on the things on this list but I hadn’t had a cut since the end of September and it felt so good to lose some of the weight. I feel more like me when it’s shorter.

>>> I received Freshlys Antiox facial plan and I’ve been loving it. Freshly is a cruelty-free, vegan, sustainable skincare brand. The plan has 4 parts: you start with the Fresh Green Micellar Water, then follow that with the Detox Purifying Facial Toner, then the Facial Serum and last the Facial Moisturiser.

I only do this once per day instead of twice. In the evening I do my old skincare routine, but this has become my morning routine. My skin has been feeling so fresh and radiant afterwards. I also love the ritual of it all. Not to mention the products all literally smell good enough to eat.

>>> When I was last down in London, I finally got to eat at Eat By Chloe in Covent Garden. I was hoping that they’d be open back in January when Sam and I were in town to see ‘Hamilton’ but we missed the opening by just a few weeks. Eat By Chloe is all vegan – we’ll call it vegan fast food. Lots of incredible burgers and the like. It’s all phenomenal.

>>> I also finished my doula training this month. I’m on to the mentor period and actually attending births. Eek!

>>> The little tomatoes that I started seeding in early April and planted out during the first May bank holiday are thriving! I can’t wait to nip outside and get my own tomatoes!

>>> I was also gifted these Yes To facial wipes to try out. They are another great cruelty brand (Leaping bunny certified). I use these wipes when I need a bit of a cleanse quickly in the middle of the day without wanting to go through my whole face washing routine.

The smell is absolutely incredible. It’s a sweet coconutty scent and I absolutely adore it. AND the face wipes are compostable unlike a lot of other wipes.

>>> I also had an incredible day at Rudding Park Hotel and Spa trying out the spa. They are supposed to be one of the best new spas in England, and I can attest that it was absolutely brilliant. But a whole post on that is coming soon!

>>> And last but not least, my 30th birthday. Sam took me away to Gisborough Hall where I rode horses on the moors, took baths in massive antique tubs, visited the seaside and ate delicious food. Then we came back to York and a friend from America showed up at our front door as a massive birthday surprise and then we went out for a killer meal in York.
