I’m back again with another tasty, simple, and delicious recipe that you can grill on a barbecue with The Fry Family Food Co.
Quesadillas can be delicious with chicken or pork in them, so I’ve used Fry’s schnitzel to give a crunchy protein boost in these. Use your favourite vegan cheese. Again, you can get Fry’s Schnitzel at your local Sainsbury’s.
Ingredients:
flour tortillas
dijon mustard
vegan cheese, grated
Fry’s Schnitzel
green jalapenos, chopped
white onion, diced
red pepper, chopped
Directions:
Heat up your bbq and lightly grill your onions, red pepper and your Fry’s Schnitzel. Once they are thoroughly cooked, dice the grilled vegetables and slice the Schnitzel in strips.
Spread one flour tortilla lightly with mustard. It helps the vegan cheese have somewhat of a ‘tang’. Then sprinkle with your grated cheese, jalapeños, white onion, red pepper and Schnitzel pieces. Then top with another tortilla.
Grill for 5-6 minutes, carefully flipping the quesadilla over once. Cook until the vegan cheese is melted. Slice and serve!
