As the weather changes, I always need to revisit my skincare routine slightly. I have really dry skin so I need to always add a bit more moisture into my routine. Lately, I have been trialing a few products from Skinstation to see how they fit into my routine.

AM:

I wash my face with my Typologie bar soap. Then I spritz a few times with my Heritage Store Rosewater. Once that dries, I apply a Mad Hippie Vit C undereye cream and my Sunday Riley Vitamin C moisturiser. Lastly, I always finish with some clear lip balm. I swear by Paw-Paw cream.

PM:

In the evening, I’ve been cleansing with the Obagi C cleansing gel. I’ve really been enjoying the Obagi cleanser. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight at all and I really enjoy the extra does of vitamin c. Then I do a few swipes of Typologie micellar water and then Typologie toner. Once that is dry, I use a retinol undereye cream from BeautyPie and a Typologie moisturiser.

Traditionally, I never used to break out. But over the past 18 months of wearing masks, I started to get weekly breakouts for the first time ever. Mostly they centre around the sides of my mouth. I’ve been using Skinstation’s Dr Barbara Strum clarifying spot treatment. It is a blemish treatment on my occasional spots and it works a treat. It has the texture and feel of clay and it zaps those pesky spots really well. I’ve even had great reduction success on those dreaded spots that are mostly just sore and under the skin.

I do a once a week honey mask for an extra moisture boost.

Skinstation also sell Skinceuticals which I have been itching to try for a very long time!

What is in your autumn/winter skincare routine?
