It’s been a while since I’ve written such a post. Since December 2021, to be precise. A lot has gone on in my life lately, but there’s even more upcoming.
So without further ado:
10 Things That Made Me Happy Recently:
>>> I studied French at university and I’ve been revisiting it every day on Duolingo and I’m really enjoying the refresher.
>>> I’ve started rehearsal for the production of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ that I am in. I’m playing Romeo so I’m super excited to be getting stuck in (and a bit nervous to be taking such an iconic part!)
>>> I went to two gigs; one Jarrod Dickenson in Peterborough, the other David Ford in Cambridge. Plus I have tickets to see Phoebe Bridgers and Florence + the Machine later in the year.
>>> I chaperoned a school trip to Harry Potter on the West End. What a teacher win!
>>> I visited Ely for the first time and fell in love. It’s the only place in England that has rivaled York in terms of love-at-first-sight.
>>> The term break is nearly here! I cannot wait for some time off.
>>> I finally got around to reading the first two Crescent City novels and I am obsessed. The ending to the second – gasp!
>>> The warm weather later has been absolutely amazing. It’s put me in the best of spirits.
>>> The only show that I’ve really binged lately is Season 2 of Bridgerton. What were your thoughts?
>>> It’s iced coffee season! Woo hoo! Is there anything better?
And upcoming in April I have two theatre trips plus a secret trip planned for the boyfriend’s birthday! What are you looking forward to?
