When Bam & Boo reached out to collaborate on a blog post, I was thrilled. I knew that their service was not only right up my alley, but of interest to most of my readers as well. They are a brand of environmentally friendly bamboo toothbrushes (and other toiletries) with focus on sustainability and ecology.

My trial parcel came with 2 adult and 2 kids toothbrushes. The handle are 100% bamboo and the bristles are nylon 6 BPA free. They came in recyclable paper packaging.

My kit also came with dental floss. I’d been looking for a more sustainable alternative to traditional dental floss so I was super excited to try this. It’s 100% natural and made with bamboo charcoal fibre and candelilla wax. Their floss is both zero waste and vegan. I am a convert to this product.

The kit also came with two drinking straws and 1 cleaning brush all made with 100% biodegradable bamboo. They are washable and reusable. And last, but certainly not least, was the adorable Bam & Boo tote bag with pandas on it.

Bam & Boo is primarily a toothbrush subscription service. Just pick your favourite colour and they deliver your toothbrushes right to your door. You can choose a monthly schedule of whenever works for you. (Every month, 2 months, etc.)

The service is €4.99 euros per toothbrush (including tax) and shipping is free worldwide. I suppose it goes without saying really, but all the packaging was recyclable as well.

Bamboo is the fastest growing plan in the world, requiring few resources to develop. it’s considered one of the most sustainable raw materials on the planet. Bam & Boo use sustainably sources Moso bamboo which is organic and wild, FSC certified. It is also naturally antibacterial, making it the best choice for the environment and oral health.

And importantly to me, since pandas are my favourite animal, they don’t eat this type of bamboo.
