So how is the lockdown treating everyone else? Personally, I haven’t put on jeans in weeks and it is glorious. I’ve been living in yoga pants, dresses and dungarees and I never want to go back. Lately my dress of choice has been this Weird Fish Milli Floral dress.

The dress is super comfortable (thanks to the lack of waistband, I’m sure) but the buttons and the waist tie still give the dress definition so I’m not shapeless when I answer the door to either the veg box delivery man or the postman.

I’ve been filling my days with online PGCE work, walking Harold, going out in the sun to enjoy my daily exercise, reading and doing a lot of cooking and baking. I’ve also been doing a lot of jobs around the house that I’ve been putting off- like dusting all my plant babies (I have a whole post on doing a satisfying spring clean, if you’re interested.). If you’re looking on some indoor ideas and activities, I made you a list!

The Milli Floral Print Midi Dress in Dark Navy (£45) which is now out of stock in some sizes, but the Tallahassee Patterned Cotton Jersey Dress in Dark Navy is similar (£35) as is the Talia Plain Jersey Dress in Dark Navy (£30). I also really like the Paisley Sleeveless Patterned Jersey Dress in Sunshine Yellow (£35).

I’ve wanted a pair of plimsols for absolute years, but have never gotten around to buying a pair, so I snapped a pair up when I saw them on the Weird Fish website. These cute little plimsols are the Kate Canvas shoes (£25). They took about 3-4 walks outside to break in, and I only got blisters on the first day. These were not long walks, mind you, just jaunts to the grocery shop, so they would have been a lot quicker to break in on a normal day.

All of the Weird Fish clothing is designed for maximum comfort! In fact, it’s even in their “Who We Are” section that they make their clothing with comfort in mind. I also like that they are a UK based company (Cornwall) that has a focus on sustainable fabrics like Tencel and linen. You can read more about their ethical policy here.

Take a look at some of the other Weird Fish Spring arrivals. Weird Fish are currently offering 20% off your first online order when you sign up to their newsletter.
