Outfitting || Meadows Floral Dress

One of my favourite British brands of all time is Meadows. All of their collections are inspired by Victoriana, prairie-style, and folklore. It’s a different line by designer LF Markey.

I love that all of the Meadows dresses are turbo #cottagecore. Who knew that my personal interests in being an old Victorian witch were a whole TikTok aesthetic just waiting to be discovered.

But this particular dress is Meadows’ Nerine Vintage Country Floral Dress. All Meadows’ pieces are made in small production runs small, ethical factories, and all use organic cotton. What I especially love about this dress is that unbelted and without a jacket, it’s a perfect, ultra-comfortable around-the-house outfit. Belted and with the right accessories and it’s quite formal. Versatility is the best of both worlds for me, clothing-wise. It’s my plan to mostly own pieces that have two functions. (My school wardrobe aside.)

It’s a fairytale dress, so I had to shoot it in a fairytale way. This abandoned tower is close to a local church and was crying out to me to be used.
