Like my Hearts and Found Dress, this is also a fantastic Etsy find. It is from Ylistyle. They are a shop based in China that focus on making linen clothing. This puffy sleeve-midi dress is fulfilling all my cottage core fantasies. It is so comfortable and flattering and it has been my most-worn item of clothing this summer.
It makes me feel confident when I wear it which is surely the most important thing ever when it comes to clothing. Delivery is quite slow – there’s about a two month turn-around period but it is worth every second of the wait.
I am very much a believer in vintage fashion, not vintage values, and I think the prevalence of Cottage Core style has been due to a desire to have an idyllic countryside life – something that a lot of us yearned for, especially those of us who were locked down in tiny city flats with zero outside space.
