Outfitting || Hearts and Found Dress

I am a long-time proponent of trying to avoid fast-fashion whenever possible – and buying second-hand when I cannot. So I was absolutely excited to find the Etsy shop Hearts and Found last year that makes the most gorgeous, vintage-inspired dresses.

You can even request the dresses tailored to your body-measurements and in the fabric of your choice. I opt for linen whenever I can; I love the feel of it and how sustainable it is. And in this rich blackberry colour, what is there not to love!

It is the perfect transitionary dress: the linen makes it still feel spring-like but the full skirt and long sleeves make it weather-friendly for England’s infamously unstable Springs. I accessorised it with brown boots, a woven brown belt and a pendant necklace for an easy weekend outfit. It’s the kind of outfit that I can throw on and still feel really put-together in (which is my favourite kind of outfit!)
